This past summer, we partnered with Envision to send a team to Miami, Florida for a short-term missions trip. Throughout the week, we painted at a neighboring CM&A church as well as build offices in the facility. In addition, we evangelized for the first time at South Beach, cleaned up Bertha’s yard, and facilitated a food distribution!
We were extremely blessed and overwhelmed by the support we’ve received, both spiritually and financially. To summarize our biggest takeaways from the trip, we’d like to emphasize: the power of prayer (Philippians 4:6-7), heart of a servant (1 Corinthians 15:58), and devotion to the Word of God (Joshua 1:8). Upon returning from the trip, we hope to bring back opportunities for our church to serve the neighboring communities as well as be more bold to share the Gospel to one another. Praise God for this opportunity and we pray that our short-term missions trip in Miami was another stepping stone to equip us in the bigger mission that God has placed in our lives in Philadelphia.
